Movies, TV shows... featuring elements from the Arthurian Legends.

MOVIES
In order of movie release (not blog publication).- King Arthur (2004). Director Antoine Fuqua goes for a "historical" reimagining here, with his King Arthur (Clive Owen) as commander of a Roman unit of auxiliary cavalry posted at Hadrian's Wall at the point in time when Rome and its legions are about to leave Britain for good (mid-5th century AD)
- Aquaman (2018). What's that? You don't believe this DC Jason Momoa-starring film is an Arthurian tale? Go read the blog post and be convinced!
- The Kid Who Would Be King (2019). A family film that's kind of a reverse "Kid in King Arthur's Court", with the Arthurian stuff finding itself in the present instead of the "kid" in the past. Also a bit of a continuation of The Sword in the Stone a few centuries later (with an equally wacky Merlin).
TV SHOWS
Most of these shows will have Arthurian references in more than one episode. Clicking on the name will take you to the show's introductory post listing / linking the relevant episodes. In alphabetical order.
- BBC's Merlin: a Fantasy series where a young Merlin meets Prince Arthur in a Camelot where magic can get you executed, and helps him grow into the King he will become.
- Once Upon a Time: certain members of the Round Table make an appearance in several episodes of the fairy tale inspired series.
- Stargate SG-1 seasons 9 & 10: Merlin is an ascended Ancient who helps SG-1 against the Ori. He once guided King Arthur and his knights on the path to Enlightenment.
